The Bay County Sheriff’s Office is actively investigating the compromise of a person’s bank account. On Friday, October 10, 2014, the victim, who lives in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, learned that someone obtained a counterfeit debit card for their personal bank account and used it to withdraw $3,880.00 in cash from the account without their knowledge or permission.
The transactions, ten total, were conducted on Thursday, July 31, 2014 and Friday, August 1, 2014 at the automated teller machine (ATM) located at 10916 Hutchinson Boulevard in Panama City Beach, Florida. The suspect (pictured) is described as being a black male, who appears to be in his late teen or early 20’s with medium build, black hair and was last seen wearing a light-colored tee shirt, dark short, athletic shoes and was riding a bicycle with small white earphones in his ears.
