In a luncheon held Saturday at the Panama Palms Conference Center, Cynthia McCauley was honored as the Bay County National Organization For Women Woman of the year.
Ms. McCauley was honored for her work as a Special Education teacher and an Advocate for the Disabled.
During the luncheon, she was honored with readings by youth from famous authors and serenaded by Lucky Mudd.
Ms. McCauley is the 19th recipient of the Bay County Award, and follows her daughter, who won the 14th annual award.
