The Lynn Haven Police Department announced today the arrest of two subjects from the Tallahassee area for at least 10 Vehicle Burglaries that occurred last night.
Lynn Haven Police Officers, while on routine patrol in the early morning hours, found numerous vehicles in the West 8th St. Circle area with their doors ajar. Upon waking up homeowners it was found that at least 10 vehicles had been entered and property removed from the vehicles which were left unlocked.
One of the victim’s was notified by his credit card company that a suspicious transaction had occurred where his card was utilized at a local motel at 3 a.m. to secure a room.
When Officers from the Lynn Haven Police and Panama City Police Department arrived at the motel they located Yuri Alexander Harris 19 years of age who listed an address of 3001 26th Ave. S St. Petersburg, FL. and Sean Isac Brumley 22 years of age of 5018 Saray Way Tallahassee, FL. The Officers also recovered a large quantity of property that matched the description of property reported stolen in the vehicle Burglaries’.
While at the motel it was learned the subjects were operating a 4 door Silver Mercedes which was registered to a Tallahassee man. Further Investigation revealed the registered owner is out of the country and his Tallahassee residence had been burglarized and his car stolen.
Harris has been charged with 10 counts of vehicle burglary, fraudulent use of a credit card and Improper Use of Personal Identification.
Brumley is also charged with 10 counts of vehicle burglary, fraudulent use of a credit card and Improper use of personal identification.
Additionally Brumley was found to have existing warrants out of Tallahassee for Violation of Probation and 4 counts of Burglary of a Residence.
Both subjects were transported to the Bay County Jail and other charges are pending.
