The Bay County Sheriff’s Office responded to a 911 call January 24 at 10:22 pm in reference to an incident of domestic violence in Bayou George. Deputies went to the area of Shannon Circle and C.R. 2301. Deputies met with Erin Goodwin, age 34, who stated her husband, Christopher Williams, age 29, had attacked her in the living room of their home on Lory Lane. Goodwin stated she and Williams ended up in the kitchen of the home where she believes she stabbed him.
Deputies went to the home at 8741 Lory Lane and found Williams on the floor of the kitchen, deceased.
BCSO Criminal Investigations and Crime Scene Unit have responded to the home. At this time law enforcement believes Erin Goodwin acted in self-defense. The investigation continues into the death of Christopher Williams.
