The Bay County Sheriff’s Office announced today the arrest on May 13, 2012, of Shannon Davis Aubrey, DOB 5/23/72, of 2731 S Pleasant Oak Court on Panama City Beach.
Deputies responded to the Pleasant Court residence when a friend of Aubrey’s called 911. When deputies responded they spoke to the woman who stated her two daughters had been at Aubrey’s house at a sleepover on May 11, 2013, and during that time, Aubrey allegedly gave the two juveniles a valium.
Aubrey spoke to deputies and stated that all the juveniles in the home with her that night had purchased marijuana while out during the evening and she took it from them. Later the same evening she stated she caught them stealing some of her pain pills. She stated she did not take them back and did not know what was done with the pills by the juveniles.
All juveniles in the home that evening stated they were given half a pill of valium from Aubrey. Aubrey was arrested and charged with two counts of Child Neglect. Additional charges were placed today of two counts of Delivery of a Controlled Substance to a Person Under the Age of Eighteen.
